About Victoria

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience in providing counselling and therapy in a range of settings. I have worked in the non-Government and NSW public sectors as well as private practice, seeing clients presenting with difficulties including depression, anxiety, personality disorder, early childhood trauma, sexual assault, self-harm, suicidality, complex post-traumatic stress disorder and problems regulating emotions and behaviour such as sexual behaviour, alcohol and substance dependence and gambling.

This has included working for Relationships Australia as a couples counsellor, NSW Rape Crisis Centre as a sexual assault counsellor, Western Sydney Area Health Service as Director of the Cedar Cottage Pre-Trial Diversion Program with families who had experienced intra-familial child sexual abuse, and as a Psychologist and Senior Psychologist with the Department of Corrective Services conducting assessments, short-term individual therapy, facilitating a group treatment program for male sexual offenders, and managing an Acute Crisis Management Unit for offenders at risk of self-harm or suicide.

I am particularly experienced in working with clients who have difficulty trusting others. I am a descendant of the Kamilaroi people and have an understanding of issues facing indigenous people, including inter-generational trauma.
